Why Real People?

I chose Real People as the title of my blog, because when I first became aware that I was looking for something, it wasn't to understand the meaning of my life, or to answer esoteric questions about the universe and our place in it. No. I simply became aware that I was looking for People, people I would recognize when we met, people who would have a certain "something" about them. I had no idea what that something was, only that because of it, we would resonate. We would recognize each other.

I found Real People at college, in particular, Jack, who introduced me to the Fourth Way. He brought me to Irmis Popoff, who was one, as well as the people that were in her group. J. G. Bennett's school in England, at Sherborne House, not only had Real People, but there I found my spiritual family.

I have found Real People in other places too. Claymont is full of them, but my second home near Asheville, North Carolina, has them too. My neighbor there is on the opposite side of my political preference, yet we still share something we recognize in each other. That is what I love about Real People.

My new MO is to see how things go, where the energy wants to lead, and how to respond to that in a way that is connected to what is real in me. My hope is that you and I can journey together, to discover what is REAL.
